Akai MPC 2500

Does anyone know how big it is in comparison to the XL ,1000,4000?

If it's true, why isn't it on the Akai website?

Also, why would they go back to the 2000 looking wheel and buttons instad of the newer 1000?

I saw someone do a picture like that with the Digi-002 a while back. They turned it into the Digi-003... it looked pretty tight too.

No, 4 pole means 24db/octave and can apply to lo-pass as well as hi-pass. But on GearFreaks it says:

• Filter type Low pass, Band pass, High pass

AND:

• Dynamic filtering 2 x 2-pole filter per voice

2 filters per voice is nice, and 'dynamic' should mean that the filter can be ajusted while the sample plays - either by an envelope, the LFO (!), or (hopefully) the Q-link controls.

I figured as much..................I THOUGHT that 4-Pole could apply to a filter and that those filters included HI-PASS.................and thank GOD IT DOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

doesn't the 4k already does that ?

Prolly Jus the Price I Believe it will IN the 2000XL Bracket ...Like 1600 or less Eventually................Not like the 4k 2000+ price tag
