Yeah that's what I'm getting at also.

I haven't heard that either, it's like it's a trend.

I'd bet $1 the better tracks come from the MPC60-2000XL users...because they are forced to utilize their machines. I don't think those extra features in the newer machines will give them an ounce of an advantage.
It will still be about the skills of the person though. a SKILLED person person on a 4k who has messed with and understand MANY of the features on a 4k that other mpc's don't have will kill the next man in a battle but ONLY if his/her skills are there in the first place.
that would be a good idea though, a poweruser from each forum put up a beat using all the features.
1k - who will is going to hold it down for the 1k?
2k - who will is going to hold it down for the 2k?
2kxl - who will is going to hold it down for the 2kxl?
3k - who will is going to hold it down for the 3k?
2500 - who will is going to hold it down for the 2500?
4k - 4k - who will is going to hold it down for the 4k?
60 - who will is going to hold it down for the 60k?
Maybe not about competion but more about creative use of the features in each machine.
