Yo Kilowax. Bigup for buying the SP! No doubt that shit rocks. Sample drumz on 33 Rpm, and all the rest on 45Rpm, then lower the pitch.
If you want a beat of 92 Bpm, just set the tempo on 184 Bpm. then double also your segment length. After that just turn the swing to 72%.
That shit is sooooo ill !

I get the best of both rockin the Emax with the 60, but SP's got that magic look and feel....

I didn't say I own it already... but I will on next tuesday :D !!! I'm new into the SP and the cat was cool enuff to leave the machine at home during this week, so I have a better opinion about it.Respect due to him!!!

Im glad you found the gain knob.... I was gonna suggest that. EMU bangs jack... dont get it twisted. I love my MPC and thangs... but there is a very noticble difference in the sound. They really shine the most when you are mixing. Not during listening tests. There is a hard to describe thumpy quality to the drums. The low and midrange are changed to generate this quality. So far I havent been able to emulate it. It would be nice to only have to use one machine. LOL. You really have to play with those older 12 bit joints a bit longer than a few days to see the benefit in my opinion. Your Milage May Vary.
