El, when I have it circuit-bent, those 8 channels plus the 2 mains will serve it's purpose as I intend it to. http://www.circuit-bent.com/rmachine.htm
That's the main reason I bought it in the first place. Each channel will have various effects added to them, taking it to another level along with the circuit-bend. 8)

Word! Talk to the guy at the link I posted above. I've talked to several circuit-benders and this guy knows his sh!t, offers more bend for the buck, and is actually very friendly and informative about his work, unlike some other benders that I won't even mention that act like there's some big trade secret about it. I have a Speak & Spell, Speak & Read, and a Speak & Math that I copped off ebay and I'm gonna bend them myself when I get the time. I just don't wanna take a chance on my 626. For $200, it's definitely worth it to have an external patchbay mod that I can examine at some point and apply to other battery operated keyboards and drum machines in the future. 8)
