Simple and effective

Jac how do u like that asr x pro? do you use it for the fx and sampling or do you actually make beats on that thing

jacpot you got a nice setup there. why 2 2kxl? you say simple and effective, it may be effective but thats not a simple setup..

Well I started out making beats on it bougt 5 years back. I now use it for running my samples through and adding effects. I mainly use it for making drum sounds since it got a sound stomper. I make alot of drums from scratch.

I bought the other 2kxl yesterday cause it had the 8 outs and the effects board, and it got full memory. My blue mpc was stock so I gutted the other mpc and upgraded my blue mpc. Its now maxed out. Im gonna max out white mpc again I just ordered the parts. Afterwards imma sell it.
I bought the white mpc for $400

oh right now i remeber the commotion about the data knob..

how intutive is the asr-x?? im interested in ensoniq and had an asr10 but i dont really want to take too much time out to learn it...

Its pretty difficult to work on. Its not user freindly at all. I had that thing for 5 years and I cant do everythin on it. If u can master it though its a very powerful machine. The manual is a joke dont even think of reading it. And thier is no help hotline to call.
