You Wish! Im in the middle of remodeling the crib and upgrading the setup. I'm about to create a vocal booth in the room as well. I had a nice long talk with a mix engineer at a big studio the other day about room acoustics. I feel for you guys with all of that foam. I learned a whole lot.

or get a cheap Roland A880 midipatcher of Ebay for like $25 and save yourself a whole lot of trouble

Well just say that padding is made to compensate for an acoustically "bad" room. Too much padding placed in the wrong places will totally destroy a rooms acoustics. Your monitors will never be able to acuratly tell you what your music sounds like. So Im about to do the math and rebuild my entire room with angles and all so that I wont get that horrible ringing sound in my vocals anymore.

Partna did that. Look at the other stuff, not a scratch on anything. I don't even allow any to touch anything. The motif was ugly when I got it. I switched my 1k for it. The only thing that harms my equipment is dust.
