You are right about one thing. It's about the music and sounds......NOT tha GEAR! Wait till you hear whats in these thangz Then decide if you want it or not... We are not trying to twist anyones arm to buy our stuff its all good it will be fully loaded and ready to drop hits to whoever picks it up and turns it on.... And yeah it's personal with AKAI and we dont care who knows it..... They are asking us "BEAT THIS" with the XR so oooook.

the price was said to be at the same range as a MPC 1000.

I'm sure you can order one without grillz. I would personally love one with wood panels.

^^^^^ the reason we are talking about it is cause the specs are sooo good, and its american owned.. ive always said some one should make a beat machine thats up to par, and user friendly,.. im mean take for instance the 500, i own the 500, and i love it, but why didnt they just spend a little more and put a bigger screen on it? and why the AA batteries?? come on, its f u c k i n g stupid how companys do s h i t like that, why cant they make something right the first time,. i'll tell you why... money!!! i heard about this beat thang a bit ago, i just never thought in a million years they would have it look like that.. but if it lives up to its specs, and holds up to a beating then maybe people can try and get over how silly it looks,. but give props to these guys, they have a dream, and they are making it come to life, and you know akai, and roland are sum b i t c h e s......maybe since these guys arent paying for advertising the price will be a lil cheaper,. what do you think beat kings??

Hell yeah we'll make it look how you want. Black chrome, Chrome, 24karat, Spay paint, whatever you want that we can find. It will be more than the base model of course. Color LCD and 256 ram are standard you wont need more ram because of streaming. You may not need our sounds but you may find them useful since we've spent a fortune to create them edit and master. They will be dope. The guitar chops alone are worth the price once you hear them. My pops played with westbound and has some old vintage un released masters we got access to and it was a treasure chest of stuff recorded in the 70's on SSL and 2inch and we have the masters so some of the drums sounds are grimy. This tape was about 30 years old and had to be baked. My dad played on whats going on and the same engineer milan bogden
recorded this old project too. It's probably the best Counts record ever made and if any of you in here know b boy culture then you know the counts records. WestBound folded before the last counts record was released and my dad owned the master. 30 years later i have the master......... Talk about Chops.... We got chops kanye wish he had.

Working on getting the Resolution up high too. 960 is not impossible however i will say that i'm making some crazy beats on the lower resolution and not noticing a difference really. We may let you set your own resolution just so you can adjust the feel of you programming......

Some real beat makers got a chance to build what they want and now you tell us what you want and we'll try to make it happen. You must understand though that there are real limits to what you can put into a machine at a certain price it's a balance. We have to keep our people in mind who dont got 2 stacks to drop on a machine. They have music in them too and we gotta make sure they get something powerful too. Thats what we are trying to accomplish with this project.....
