??? You're kidding right?

nah im not kidding. im dead serious man... have you heard the cat flow? sure he's got lyrics for days but its a double edged sword cos it means he trys to fit too many words in one line. now some cats can pull it off like them tongue twisting rappers - but usually they aren't lyrical, their lyrics are just a bunch of random words. but talib actually has lyrics like you could read his verses and theyd be dope. but he trys to fit too many words in and his flow suffers...

even he says it on his album.

and yea you nobody without haters so i agree with that ... im just sayin... talib would be way higher on my list, possibly even one of my favourites if he had that flow

Well, Aesop is a different case IMO...he made his style by fitting awkward stuff in with abstract lines.. He's got an art to his craft, but it still sounds like 2003 to me

Just like a million other words that we use everyday. I studied a great deal on speech in classical theatre studies and people in general do not speak proper English...

Did you study punctuation, phrasing, pacing and sentence structure also? Tell me, what would they call run on sentences in A Theatrical Survey: The History of Enunciation and Grammar, where you studied. Wasn't that class a prerequisite for Practical Theory and Praxis -- where you'd have studied such things as "post modern slang"? ???

I'm just kidding man.

Bone Thugs never rapped random words and their flows were sick.

yea bone thugs had sick flows.... in the same way that talib has sick lyrics - bone thugs have sick flows. pity they dont have both of each. for example if you had a rapper with talibs lyrics and the flow of bone thugs you'd be looking at a potential GOAT.

see what i mean... the random words maybe that was the wrong description. i mean putting in certain words to make the flow fit instead of the other way round like talib would do it - i think he usually trys to write some dope shit and then make it flow. with cats like bone thugs, i think they'd have their flow as their main focus and just fit in whatever words into their flow. just my opinion. but try listening to bizzy... does anyone ever know what the heck he says? i sure dont.. he may as well be mumbling and humming to me itd be one and the same

Are you kidding me? Bizzy is a fantastic lyricist. Just cuz his flow is too fast for YOU to follow, doesn't mean he's spitting nonsense.

Talib nowadays is a horrible performer, he can't even remember the lyrics to some of his well known songs (including the recent ones from ear drum). the glory days of Kweli performances for me were back in like 98-00, I don't know what happened. I see this cat up on stage and I get frustrated, I feel like i'm watching a cross between joe camel and donkey choking on water.

that whole idle warship thing is horrible, the only thing saving it is res makes good eye candy, and thats about it.

I agree certain tracks it sounds like he has a mouth full of marbles, but his flow/lyrics have been proven time and time again. Its just the live performance leaves something to be desired.

I'm just glad that your opinion isn't fact.
