seems like the 4000 is the odd one out. like i've never used it at all, but from what i know its the only one with a different sampling rate, and i hear the interface or like the OS is alot different from all the current or past MPCs

Here it is. My Alesis Fusion 8HD, Tascam 2488mkii, Akai MPC1000, and Alesis M1 Active MKII's. I call it SOUND MIND. It's almost finished. Soon I'll be adding a laptop and Mopads for the monitors. I also have Marshall MXL990/991 mic's, Sennheiser HD280 Pro's and a Squier guitar that I'm learning how to play. I also have a Yamaha PSR-D1 Djx. I'm hoping to add a bass guitar in the near future and maybe some electronic drums. Plain and simple.

I got it from Musicians Friend for $148.00. I bought the arms yesterday from a local music store for $30 a pair. The stand is a QUIK LOK Z-555. You can check it out on their website under the workstation area.

Hellfire,

I used to have that mixer in the 90s. Looks just like a Gemini PMX-3500. I was always a fan of the 19" mixers back then because I had so much stuff hooked up and the 2 channels never could accommodate me. The VU meters on that thing worked for about a day and never came back on after that . . .

I sorta miss the cheese sound effects.
