ok so check the situation.
im sampling a record and i notice one of the outs is not completely dead, but fading, and the other signal is playing loud and clear.
i take the outs and i switch them, same thing, opposite effect.
i figure that my cables are shot, go to good ol radio shack. cop some new cables, re wire and let it spin. same thing. so i took my old table, hooked that one up. plays perfect. came to the conclusion that the audio outs on my gemini were broken.
i took my table back to the store. they have a repair center. they want like 45 bucks down up front. another 20 after that for shipping. theyre gonna send it back to gemini, who will fix it for the price of the part ( probably like 20 bucks) plus their hourly rate (probably like 3million bucks) so i declined their offer cause i dont see the purpose in paying over 100 bucks to fix a 200 dollar table.
the problem is the audio outs (rca jacks). its a gemini table. does anyone have any experience in replacing this part or know where i can get it fixed cheaper. my search ended because my car wont start now. NY winters are a ****.
long winded, but so necessary (no bra wit that blouse)
