Sound Module subgroups

Do any of you own the planett phatt or the JV1080 and if so do you use the main outs or sub groups outs to go into ur mixer...What is the most common practice and is using the subgroup neccesary?

Using the sub groups is not necessary. The sub groups are basicaly like the 8 outs on the MPC, they're for running different sounds to different outputs for individual processing.

So your saying it may be good if I just wanted like my drums coming out of one of th esub groups being that I may want to seperate them from the basslines or melodies i might want to play out of the planett...Thanks thats makes sense.
