Sampling through MPC2kXL

First of all let me tell you what I have: MPC2kXL w/8 outs & eb16, Behringer MX602a 6 channel mixer, Stanton turntable and Radio shack 4ch. sound mixer for turntable. What I want to be able to do is sample into the MPC but I want to be able to tweak my sounds with the mixer using the 8 oputs and effects card how would I route everything and what settings would I use in the MPC. PEACE !

Do you have effect send and returns on the mixer if send the signal you want to sample to it.
On the MPC's end you need to first make you have convert all the samples to MONO. Or it will take up to channels. You can do that if you goto trim or program mode. Just Open Window on the name of the sound. Then you gotta go into the MPCs mixer mode. Press the FKEY with INDIV on it. and assign the channel you want the sound on. Thats it.

Plug them into the corresponding inputs on the mixer and there ya go. The thing that I do is just put the MPC on a return so I can get the metronome sound. If you dont you have to go into count and send the met. sound to whatever channel. I just do all my beat first without multi-tracking then when I want to clean it up I put em on seperate tracks.

Could I use those cables to hook my motif to my digi002R for tracking?
