MPC 1000 & Protools problems

Any1 know how to make Protools the Master with MPC 1000? I've been trying for sooo long with no avail. Any help is appreciated thanks...

The manual's instrucitons did not work with Protools 6.2.2. If you also know how to make the MPC 1000 the master that would be fine also, at this point any kind of synchronization will do..thanks

Wow i guess im all alone when it comes to slaving protools huh...

Try the information they gave me on sync my mpc2000xl with protools. It worked great and didn't take any time to setup.

yea the thing with that is that XL has MTC and 1000 doesn't...so im all messed up in the game

aye pimpin, check out what i put on the other forum, it uses beat clock instead of TimeCode and can be setup in 3 minutes, real easy man, and it uses beatclock, check it out

Thanks for the help man, but i searched and all i could come up with about u and this subject was http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=10453 and that was about slaving the MPC and not slaving Protools.

I have the Digi 001, if its so simple can you just reply to this and and give the steps plz...ive literally tried everything on both the MPC and Protools.

Oh yeah, i never got it to work slaving PT.... but why would u want to? Mine syncs up PERFECTLY syncing the MP.....

Im not sure about pro tools or what kind of drivers or interface you are using but it should basically be sincing right up....the way my drivers work is I have to access the driver properties window (im using PC) and set it to Autosync instead of Master....also just make sure the mpc is set to sync out on whichever midi channell you have hooked up (a or b)...so it may have something to do with your drivers and interface setup rather than pro tools...dunno if youve messed around with that yet but it may help...peace

Syncing up to pro tools using pro tools as a master is easy, real simple, but using it as a slave doesn't work as well... I got it to sync, with the MP as the master, but it was using MTC which u says your 1000 doesn't have... but if i were u i would just use the mpc as the slave unless u have some specific reason why you don't want it that way
