The Official Electronica Producer Thread
Hey, I know most of you cats on hear are listening to and producing hip-hop and R&B jams here. However ther is a small community of electronica producers here. I thought I would start a thread that features past, present and future electronic musicians that either use a MPC or SP or any other beat boxes. Thanks to artist like Kanye West, N.E.R.D. and Missy Elliot the spotlight has been uncovering an underground movement of sorts that is a pure mashup or hip-hop, r&b, disco, and indie. So, if you have something to add go ahead hook it up!

I thought I would start it off with a duo that i have been checking out for some time. The Twelves are from Brazil , and these dudes have been burning up the internet with alot of their bootleg remixes. Artist such as M.I.A. and Daft Punk have reportedly sanctioned the twelves remixes of the artists tracks. After about a year of more in obscurity, currently they are on fire in the indie community. The trendiest Indie dance clubs all over the states and the U.K. are pummpin' The Twelves. Leaving the audience wondering just who are these guys and where can they buy their stuff. Well DJays have been fueling the hype machine for months with storeies of internet chat room whispers of an impending full length album featuring original tracks and lots of pop and indie artist cameos. if you spent all of last summer in California, like I did where it seemed everyone had a burned CDR of The Tweleves in the car, you would find this all to delicoious to be true. I just hope their original material lives up to the hype.
