Help Me Choose a Turntable

I want to upgrade my turntable. I use is it strictly for sampling so I need a table with a really good sound. I am not scratching on it so the needle would just need a good clean sound. Also what mixer should I get with the turntable.
Im just another broke producer so please keep the price ranges low.

i've demo'd a unit at Audioport and it's pretty tight.


very stable platter and no-noise. if you're just using it to sample and no-back q than you can opt for quieter motors and less ACbleed from the circuits involved with Pitch control.

the tone arm looks weak but tracks great and
the cartridge needs to be upgraded eventually, but it's a very nice table and sonically superior to entry level DJ tables IMO.

Oh > and for the 2k i'm guessing you'll just need a phono preamp and an amp prior to input to the 2k, 4k has direct connect.

I like this one. Digital outs=no pre amp. Also it has good pick up and torque. i like it alot.

i've been looking but can't find anything online, does your manual specify the RESOLUTION of the AD converter?

Yo Binger, I have the 100 but I think the 80 also have switchable line / phono outs. Built in preamp for analog outs too!!!

look for the line switch at the back. The manual says nothing about the ad res.

If you want good quality and durability go with these Numarks. They use the same motor as Technic 1200's and have some dope functions. For 300$ to $350 its a bargain, I mean I would look for good quality because I wouldnt want something that in the long run will break down and them turntables are built like tanks. Look for sales on them and if you can check on Ebay , dudes in there are always selling them for a nice price. As far as a mixer I got this Stanton brand new for $200 and its real nice .
