Start with the basics, midi in to midi out and vice versa.
On the mpc select a track and switch it from drum one to midi 1a-device
On the Triton,go into the sequencer
Select track one and scroll to the sound you want to record.
On the mpc you should hear the triton sound on the pads.
Record that track
To record another sound from the triton, select midi 2a device on the mpc
Select track 2 on Triton and scroll to the sound and record
Just continue those steps
Not sure which triton you have,I have the le but I'm sure thier all the same.Just make yopu change the names on the mpc for your midi tracks to make it easier for you.So after you save your sequence and you come back to it it will read something like A010(meaning that is the sound from the triton) instead on track 2 midi 1a.The mpc will save all your midi notes, but after you turn the triton off,you have to go back and setup the sequencer again, which is why I always name my midi tracks after the sound code from the triton.Hope this works for ya.
