auto chromatic function

is it possible to do the auto chromatic function with 2 or more instruments and everything still be playing what they are supposed to be playing? If so can u explain this to me. This is what I did, I played the bassline on the keys of the asr using the auto chromatic function and named that program. then I played the drums and the hats next on the mpc. I have a guitar that needs to be played over the keys of the asr. how can i do this and guitar not take place of the the bassline or the drums. I think i explained this clearly.
