Whats up mpc fam?........I got a question concerning wave files......... I have mixed some tracks from my mpc 4000 on to my yamaha aw4416 16 track recorder..., is it possible for me to save my music as wave files on a cd-rw and take that cd-rw to a studio and load it up on there system?

thanks.....

I believe you are speaking of stemming out your tracks and saving them to wav files to be mixed out on a studio setup using protools. If this is what you mean then yes it can be done as long as the studio has a system that can use wav files such as a protools rig.

Every studio can read wav. files. If you have the option, save the files as 16 bit as well as 24bit so the engineer can choose the one he prefers. Or call the studio and ask them.
