mpc 2000XL, asr-10, Pro Tools --- MIDI and connect help!!!!!

hey everyone...i need suggestions on the best way to connect an asr-10, mpc 2000XL, and pro tools. i know knaye got this setup and i was wondering how he got it setup. now i know yall hate that type of reference to a major producer, but dont shit one me. im askin bout connections not technique. id appreciate any help at all thanks.

Actually, i don' think kanye uses PT.... i know in one interview he was sayin he keeps computers away from his music and he uses a VS1880 or 2480 or one of those Roland VS series...

As for the set up, if u usin the MPC as the sequencer which i'm sure u would be.... i'd hook the midi in (ASR-10) to Midi Out (MPC) and vice versa... then assuming that ur not using the MBox, i'd hook the midi out from Digi001 or 002, into the other Midi In on the MPC... it's not fool proof, but that should work

kanye does use a pro-tools set up, but it's just the one at the studio they use...the one that jay-z and them own that young guru is the engineer for... madlob used the korg 1600 or the vs-1880 to dump to...

Well i know that the whole kanye album was done on a roland.... i know that for a fact.... that was in one of those kanye interviews that was posted up here on the forums
