cables in ducing noise

i got a s950, and the power cable is on the left, (front view) which is all on the opposite side of all power cables for effects. and it runs parralell to my audio cables, along with some mains, it is not long enough to cross the mains at 90 degree angle, and i cant move the unit, any ideas

is it that critical to run the audio cables distant from the mains ?

any ideas in wiring up studio would be appreciative

If it doesn't hum or buzz, leave it alone. Using a good shielded cable should fix most noise anyway.
If you're anal about noise in your recordings you could always screw the 950 in the rack upside down and learn to walk on your hands.

i am using shielded cables, and they do run along side the power supply, it is so bad that my cables have become a mic. if i tap them, you can hear the sound in the monitors, i have shilded 8way jack from pc delta410 to mixer and its really annoying, when mastering, into the likes of soundforge, i can see the sitting at the bottom of my meters, its areally high noise floor, and it really mmakes hard when you start comping instruments, and mixing bass.
any comments pleae

run the 950's power cable across the back of the unit above the jacks, then down with the other cables, it should only need a foot and a half of slack and it will cross the audio cables of the 950 at 90 degrees.
