Best Scoring/Transposition Software?

Whats the best software for transposing sheetmusic from one instrument voicing to another (mostly piano and violin to viola) in your oppinion?

Particularly, the feature that all of them tout (which seems to good to be true lol) is my need to put PDFs and other scans of written sheetmusic into the software and transpose it. So not really for writing manually on the staff, but mainly for transposing fully written scores, and for translating midi to sheetmusic.

Of course, there's Sybellius or Finale, never used either. Your thoughts on these and others?

Didn't like Sibelius or Finale to be honest.

Whereas Melodyne DNA was expensive but excellent. There's a trial version available.

If your budget can stretch to it, I'd really consider it.

How much is melodyne DNA if you don't mind me asking?

Well you're looking at just under 300 British pounds which is currently nearly 460 dollars.

A lot for a bit of software. But the reviews are good...

Looks like you could really break a piece of music down. But 300 pounds can get you a nice bit of hardware on eBay...

sibelius you can input scanned scores and has excellent and simple transposing tools, I think it would be the best option vs an audio tool such as melodyne
