Folks,
I am trying to track a song from my MPC to pro tools using the digi 002 as the master. I don’t have the MPC outputs expanded to the 8 output, so I use the main outputs to track each individual instrument to individual tracks. When I press play (without the midi connected) I hear the sounds that I am trying to track. I have the midi output of the digi 002 going into the midi input of the MPC. But when I press play on the digi 002, I see the sequencer on the MPC playing, but I don’t hear any sound. Has anyone encountered this problem and solved it?
Thanks

use an aux track to just monitor or do the actual recording on the track to hear it.

arming an audio track to record and just pressing play on protools doesn't let you hear it yet.

Of course it does, that's what the different setting for input monitoring are for.
