Im looking for a new mixer, mostly to do work with my gear at home and maybe recording some bands.
Basically I'm looking for a Hybrid Mixer, something with FireWire or USB that I can use to control my DAW too.
Ive looked at a few mixers : Phonic Helix 24, Digi 002, M-audio Project Mix, Allen and Heath Zed 24, Alesis Multi Mix
Anything you guys suggest? cheers dudes

Presonus Studiolive...

Apogee level converters, compression, eq, great pre amps, 118dbs of headroom, insanely easy to use and overall sounds great

In fact the best sounding board ever in its price range

Also has a dedicated software program where you just start it up and arm the tracks and start recording your inputs ......

just as a note it's digital and has a firewire interface it doesn't act as a control surface.
