Create Partitions on SmartMedia card?

has anyone successfully created partitions on smartmedia or compact flash cards?

my smart media card is 4gb and my sampler reads 1gb max...so i guess a work around would to be to create 4 partitions on it

would this work, and if so anyone know what windows software i can use?

if it does not work then least i know i can sell this usless 4gig card

do a google search for partition managers... there are free ones out there.

most of the ones i have tried dont see smartmedia cards, only the local drives

I think most flash cards manage their own partition table, in different formats to normal disks, so you can't edit them.
