whats up people, I was having an issue with getting my sounds/beats to sound loud without distortion. I really need to hear everything pretty loud to get my levels where I want as far as mixing goes. The way I have everything set up is, stereo outs on the mpc to the 2 channels on the mbox2 and my speakers running into the mbox also. I have my volume all the way up on my speakers, and I have to keep it very low (about a 1/4 from the lowest possible) on the mpc or else everything starts to peak/distort. I can turn my monitor level on the mbox all the way up but things still sound low. I tried also to turn the input volume up on the mbox but things again start to peak. Could it be the way I sampled my sounds into the mpc? and if so is there a way to sample in louder without distortion when I turn it up? My general rule when sampling (especially drums) is to go in as loud as possible without distortion, I'm kinda at a loss for what to do though. Any ideas/ recommendations are appreciated, thanks
