Broken monitor speakers - advice please!:)

Hi, I bought some Tapco S8 nearfields second hand. You probably shouldn't buy second hand speakers but with the price these are new, I couldn't afford another option. Long story short, the guy messed me around completely for about 3 weeks, so you can imagine my disappointment when I got them and they seemed a bit... well... broke. I'm not in a position where I can return these so I thought f* it I need to get them fixed.

Firstly, when I picked them both up (very heavy) and tilted them left to right, back and forth, something inside both of them was sliding around. It sounded like something hollow and wooden but it's hard to tell. But when I plugged them in, they worked, so I kind of ignored that for the moment...

Then I realised that one of the speakers had a sort of distorted noise, the kind you'd get if your speaker was sitting on a dodgy uneven surface. I noticed that the tweeter had actually come apart from and into the outer casing, by 50mm or so, and air was being blown at me out of the gap. That's causing the most problems at the moment cause every track I play is sounding fuzzy because of it - pretty much the opposite reason to why I got the speakers!

I know hardly anything about the insides of speakers, theres allen screws around the tweeter so I guess I can unscrew it and pull it out from the main casing, but if I'm completely honest, I'm scared $hitless of making it worse somehow.

I hope I'm in the right forum... does anyone have any advice about any of that? What could be knocking about inside of them (but not affecting the sound), but more vitally what I could do about the tweeter coming away from the outer casing? Is it the sort of thing that commonly people fix without worrying about?

Any advice is great as this is greatly affecting the quality of life!
