Keyboard>>MPC>>Cubase control problem.. [SOLVED]

Little problem here..

I might not even be a problem but just me not know how to do it after several atemps.

I've connected my keyboard to mpc and the mpc to my pc, all of this is done trough midi.

What I'm trieng to acomplish is to only control cubase vst with the keyboard.
however the problem is that when I strike a key on the keyboard both samples on the mpc and cubase are sounding.
I dont want the mpc to sound..

I think I've tried almost all posibilities in de midi tab..

Am I missing something here??

Thanks this usefull but this way I kand see if what I play fits with my beat on the MPC. because during playback al the sequenced sounds are muted.

any workaround?

Than I wont be able to use my Q-links to control the volume in Cubase.. I'm using the focurite safire as soundcard (to laptop).. it only has one midi in and one midi out..

Okay, so back to Keyboard => MPC => Cubase then. What if you'd use different MIDI channels for the MPC and the instruments in Cubase?

mmmm I just tried and it seems that the mpc only sends out a signal to cubase if the mpc is receiving..

Its like if the the mpc reveives through channel one, the mpc sends out trough channel one..

I don't understand.. why isn't it posible to adjust this to your liking?

i always use keyboard>mpc>cubase

in mpc midi settings i have Soft thru:AS TRACK

Track 1 etc with the drums from mpc has Pgm:"your mpc program"

the track for cubase is as "MIDI" track not "DRUM", has Pgm:OFF and the MIDI chanel i transmit to cubase, "1A" for example.

i never had any problems with this settings.
