looking for advice about interface's

I need a little help with choosing a interface, i have been tracking my beats from the mp with a BEHRINGER U-CONTROL UCA202, i would like to upgrade. my question is would it be better to get mixer with effects or the interface, what are the benefits of both pro's & con's. I don't need a daw as i use reaper. These just came out,http://www.allen-heath.co.uk/zed/images/ZED10_FX_3Quarter.jpg. I do all of my production inside the box, just use reaper to clean up, add efx's, etc. If you cats can offer some insight it will be appreciated!! BE-EASY

The ZEDs are really nice products but you could be better off with a standalone interface. In this case, your getting a mixer with an interface whereas a standalone interface into the DAW itself would work similarly for a better price and better sound quality. The Presonus interfaces are nice. Pretty standard all around with varying specification to fit the price. The next level up is probably Apogee. If you have the money, these are supposed to be unbelievably clean and nice sounding. Those are probably the most popular but look around and I'm sure you will find something to perfect.

My two cents....

The mixer and FX should be available with any 'in the box' solution (DAW).

You'd probably be better off concentrating on getting a decent audio interface that meets your needs.
