What do yall think of this mic and pre amp combo

Me and my boy is try to do our own thing and put out our own cd's.....We're tring to avoid going to a big studio and just use the one i have build. I always hear the talk about avalons and what not but i have to ask myself do i realy need something that cost so much to get good vocals. I found a good combo at sam ash that i was thinking about getting, and i wanted to ask yall untill the real money comes if any will this combo give me pro results. We only need it for vocals and we're working on hip hop songs witha male voice. heres the link take a look.

Read a review recenetly on the mic.
It was in Tapeop magazine.
Anyway, the reviewer dug it.
Considered it "an excellent all purpose large diaphragm condensor.
Used it for vocals acoustic guitar and as a room mic.

I don't know personally, but Blue makes decent stuff.
So, maybe you can't go wrong.
You should listen to it though.
Some mics can be very good and not work well for what you want.

As for the Focusrite, they also make good stuff.
Clean and quiet. The more you pay, the better the stuff.

If you want character, this isn't probably the way to go.
If you want clean, and maybe even accurate, then these maybe your ticket.

Blue mics are sick. Every mic they make is the best in it's price range. I am gonna get that new 8ball condenser soon. It's their first affordable condenser, for $199

havent used either, but i know focusrite is good and blue makes good shyt, but if you are just doin hip hop vox you could get off alot cheaper (if you already have pro tools) by gettin just the preamp, a decent cheaper condenser and use mic modeler (plugin for protools) and as far as gettin that "pro" sound u should look into som emastering software such as peak, or other plugins so you can make better sounding cd's
