I plan on getting some Yamaha NS10's and was curious do I or is it wise for me to get an amp for it? I figured out my set up and just have a DJ mixer and all and plan on geting a nice mixer to run my DJ, Laptop, and monitors from..........let me know!

don't get ns10's if you want to have some low end...

ns10's are reference monitors, you'll most likely want to use them along with a pair of decent monitors. They sound like shit and are not really that great for listening or mixing. Most studio's have a pair, but just use them to check how their mix translates to crappy stereo's.
Get a pair of active nearfield monitors instead.

Pretty much anywhere. Go to your local dealer and listen to some models first before you decide though. Take some cd's you know really well, and maybe one of your own tunes and do a listening test.

Word, thanks for the help but when you said Nearfield I was thinking maybe those Tannoy Reveal Nearfields, but I dunno...I'ma go to my guitar Cebter and see whats up in a few.....
