i sample a quick hit into my mpc, put it on two pads, then pan one hard right and one hard left. I have my main stereo outs on the mpc2000xl going into the main stereo inputs on my firewire 410. i load up cubase just to here some quick compression and what not. My pan settings from the mpc are fine. But, when i have outs 1 and 2 of the 8-out board on the mpc2000xl going into the main stereo inputs on my firewire 410, my pan settings don't pick up. I ran a "test" to see if it would pick up my settings (in case your wondering why i even bothered to switch the outs). What the F*ck? Does anybody know why this is? It's not my firewire 410, cuz it picks everything up fine when i hook it up with the stereo main outs of my mpc. HELP!!!! I want to get an interface with 8 inputs, but if the mpc's can't transfer properly, then there is no point in wasting money. i know someone else has encountered this problem. i've read up, searched, etc. and can't seemed to find a solution other than "sample in mono" or "mix in cubase" or sh*t like that. If anybody has some tips, advice, or a solution then please let me know.
Thanks
