need help with my proteus 2000 or any E-mu sound module

need a little help with my e-mu proteus 2000. i've read the manual 2 times and i cant find how you erase the User bank so that they can all be blank. as of right now the user bank is a duplicate of the last 4 Composer Rom bank.

Diagnostics Mode

The Proteus 2000 has a full range of internal diagnostics, but beware they can cause speaker damage and the initialization routine is one way.

To enter diagnostics mode, power on with both cursor keys held down. There are 19 modes, which test out all the various components inside the Proteus 2000.

To re-initialize and ERASE all user data, select Diagnostic 18 and press enter.
