Proteus 2000, Motif ES or Micro Korg

Hi!
Recently, i asked you about the synth that i needed to complete my beatmaker set.
I'm found of hip hop music (Premier, Dilla, 9th...), i actually work with MPC 2000 XL and Pro Tools and i want to buy a synth to widen my artistic range; to add pads, piano, bass over my samples.
After a little investigation, i hesitate between the PROTEUS 2000, the MOTIF ES YAMAHA and the MICRO KORG.
Which one is the best for me considering my influences?

ps: all those pieces of gear would work for your needs, but only the micro korg is an actual synth.

Yeah, sorry, maybe i should have posted in the other one.
I need a synth or a rack, it doesn't matter for me. Do you have an idea for me between those?

Probably the best I can do is to let you know a majority of folks go for the yamaha.

Why do you want a digital rack synth when you already have a DAW...if you get a synth get a proper synth...I mean neither of those you listed are bad but seeing as you said you are skint why don't you just use your MPC to trigger VST's from Pro-Tools...make the most of what you got eh...
Both are digital and neither are hands on..two are rompler's oohh great, one is based on a MS-2000 but hey they took what made the MS a joy and that is all the controls!
I hate the Micro Korg...appart from every fool owning one it's not hands on..get a MS-2000R instead. Why do people buy synths for the presets? Thats stupid just buy a sample CD then..cheaper too lol
You said you wanted bass..out of those the MS will give you that old skool synth bass but personally a VST can do what the MS does..want proper bass get a old analogue.
Proteus and Yamaha ES...I'm sure there are plug-ins out there that have a wider better pallet of sounds now days that are easier to program..hardware snobbery ain't it great.
If you use a DAW already in your production I don't see the point of these generic instruments...neither are really that unique in sound imo
All those modules have been rinsed to death for years by every Tom, Dick and Harry...why not get something a little more unique
