cable communication

At the moment i use some nonname cables with lot of adapters, because of that i can hear some disturbing background noise, not really loud but i dont want it. Also im pretty noob in all this comunication stuff, so could you tell me what cable should i use to connect my turntable (two RCA outputs), synt (korg M3R, two jack outputs) and mpc (two jack inputs)
There is lots of cable types: guitar, microphone simmetric unsmmitric.. pretty messy, so i cant understand what type of cables shuld i use

try to avoid too many adaptors, they generally conduct worse than the cables themselves

you can get cables with jacks on one end and RCA on the other, if that's what your gear needs

as long as you have the right plugs, and the cables are long enough, that should be ok


does your turntable need to go through a mixer or preamp?

to connect the synth to the mpc I'd get a dual mono 1/4" jack lead like this:

you could use two single mono instrument cables (instead of one dual cable) but it's easier to keep them tidy if you have a dual cable, not two separate ones

for the turntable, something similar but with RCA plugs

N.B. for your use you probably want mono cables, like the last link I sent, not TRS ones like this:

TRS is used either for stereo or balanced mono

the MPC1000 has balanced mono inputs, but I don't think your M3 has balanced outputs, so you don't need TRS cables

yes, it needs to, but i just get ground to mpc and connected turntable directly..

Be aware that you are not de-emphasising the signal this way. This may or may not matter to you but its recommended you go through an RIAA EQ stage - as available on the 4000 / 5000 and on pretty much any phono input amp - in order to playback the sound properly.
