Does anyone else have one of these? and if so... Have you tried using a DI box on the main output to try to amplify to better levels, and were the results good or what?

haha i know... u gotta be clever with it too... not to mentiopn it only has 8 voices... but any 303 user or an original SP12/1200 user knows that 8 voices can be worked...

i admit tho... i was pissed when the 404 came out with 12 voices... and 1 seq... what type of sense did that make...

im actually waiting for an update just to see them play with the wounded mouse some more. maschine; my new baby, is what the sp606 was meant to be. roland made the varios to further the insult to my wife watching me purchase and sell their halflings.

Whats cool about the SP-606 is that with its USB you can sample anything from your computer, even from the internet. Its like sampling from the headphone jack from your server but better quality.

Also you can use it as a controller for Ableton or any production software and sample in your work to work on it as stand-alone. Plus it can act as a controller and stand-alone at the sametime without the use of a soundcard or audio interface.

On a last note, I don't see a use for a DI box, most of the effects come with a direct signal feature to balanced out the wet and dry signals.
