Technics 1200 Service / repair in Birmingham UK?

Does anyone know where i can get techs serviced in Birmingham or in the Midlands area in the UK?

Matthews is a good shop, I'd trust them with any of my gear, and they are super helpful too. I went in looking for a fuse for an amp once, i wasnt sure what size fuse it was, and the guy spent half an hour or so googling the amp to try and find out what fuse i needed.

in contrast, HTFR *spits* should be avoided at all costs.

but is it not pretty safe to assume he'd rather get his 1210s serviced somewhere decent rather than somewhere thats gonna mess him around then charge him an extortionate rate?

well common sense would tell me that someone who lives 20 minutes outside of Birmingham and still needs to use google to find a decent place to get gear repaired definitely should not be trusted to advise me where to get my gear repaired... obviously they spend far too much time racking up their 2000+ posts and not enough time actually using gear.

The new post button (located top right) brings you directly to your gear wanted "old post" - still on the first page, so no digging is required.

Lets ask the OP whos advice was most useful. Google isnt the answer for everything, and if the OP is internet savvy enough to be using a forum, do you not think he possibly already knows about google? thick prick.

This is a perfect case in point... YOU could have googled it yourself and found out! You also believe you can get a 2kxl with a perfect screen for £200 which demonstrates that you haven't got a **** clue about anything!!!
