Spring Reverbs

Hello,

I make dirty dirty dancehall with my mpc 1000and want to use an external spring reverb to bring a more classic lee perry vibe to by snares and rides. Can anyone recomend a warm and boingy spring reverb unit under $200?

I'm looking at the Electro Harmonix Holy Grail ans Holier Grail (actually a digital revern), Dan Electro spring king, and the new Vermona Retroverb (which is too much $$ for me)

any thoughts on these?

I love the MPC 1000 but prefer outboard analogue effects....

i had an old Roland pa-250, i scored real cheap. they are very large. but the built in spring reverb sounds golden. i used to love jumpin next to it, you get that sounds like when your dumping a corpse down a well.

I like the spring reverb in 80's marshall amps. I used to have a 100W transistor head with a killer spring reverb.
