hookup question, help a brother out lol

Wassup everybody? I've been reading all over the web and still confused on which cables i would need to hook all this up.

i have an Alesis 3630 compressor and a BBE 882i Maximizer, along with an MPC 1000 and Microkorg.

I want to be able to play sounds in my MPC 1000 and Microkorg, while getting the effects live from the 3630 and 882i. what would be the EASIEST way for me to achieve this? Maybe if I knew what type of mixer/interface (as in a mixer with a certain amount of IN/OUTS for me to hook this all up with), I would be able to figure out which cables I would need.


Im not trying to be spoonfed, but i've been driving myself crazy for a week and i dont want to spend money on something i dont need.

I'll really appreciate ANY help i can get. Thankss!

Easiest way would be a patchbay, but that might be a bit overkill for only two effect units.

forget about cables for now - your question is about how to route your audio signals (and maybe midi, if you want the mpc to sequence the microkorg, or use the microkorg as a controller for the mpc)

right. once you know that you want the audio to go from A to B to C then a small child or well-trained labrador could hook it up given a selection of different cables. what cables you need is dictated entirely by the connections you want to make, so figure that out first
