Akai DSP12 Multitrack HD-Recorder

Does anybody have experience with this recorder? Is it any good? Price doesn't seem very high...

There's a pic of it in the 2000XL manual btw.

without the effects board and an external mixer or preamp with phantom power...it would most likely be useless to you.........I have the 12i in my closet.....been there since like 04-05
