Monitor noise - Grounding? *Updated*

I get a ticking/white noise sound from one of my monitors when I run anything on my computer.
It's in pretty low volume, but it's still noticable.

So is there anything I can do to get rid of the ticking sound?
..and are there any one else who have had this problem?

I'd like to add that it's a specific monitor that makes the noise.
It doesnt matter which output I use from the mbox, neither which trs>xlr-cable I use.

So what makes the specific monitor to receive the noise from the computer then?

If I am right that you have swapped cables and still get noise in one monitor, then sounds like monitor is problem. Though ground loops are common for laptops due to power supplies. So I suggest unplugging power supply if on laptop. IF how ever you are not using laptop and get noise from only one monitor then its cable or monitor more likely. But as I said before, you seem to have swapped cables and still get problem in same monitor then i think its your monitors. Are they powered monitors??

I have one pair of Yamaha HS80M, and it seems like it's one specific monitor that receives the clicks/noise from the computer (even when the volume is turned to zero).
No matter if I swapped cables/output from the Mbox to the monitors, the noise still remain in the same monitor..

I'd like to add that I receive the clicks/noise when I plug in the one specific monitor to the headphone output.
note that I don't get any noise when using my acutally headphones..

cell phone interference maybe?

How close are your monitors to your computer screen? You may have to move them away from the monitor.

Actually, it's only one specific monitor that makes the noise (no matter if I swap cables or even change place with the other monitor).

Hopefully I will get it exchanged the following week..!
