running midi cables

Hey everyone. I am wondering if you can run midi cables alongside audio cables or will that pick up interference? I know you shouldnt run audio cables parallel to power cables I am just wondering if its the same deal with midi cables.

It's cool. Audio & midi cables don't omit enough energy to cause noise.

Hey what about USB midi cables that are connected to my midi controller that power the controller? as well as the mpc usb cable? can they run parallel to audio cables too?

USB cables fall under the same category as audio & midi cables. They don't omit enough energy to create noise like high voltage wiring.
