ahhhh finally!!! my friend isn't using it.so he gave it to me!!

would love any input here about hooking it up..

do i use the original software that comes with it or an updated program..

i have a macbook pro '13!!

any other ideas would be awesome..thank u! :)

hey! one quick question..how do i import my songs from itunes into Serato..i downloaded the program

a link w/ info is fine.thanks!

i AM slow with 'equiptment' /computer issues..but once my hand is on the record..i scratch!! 8)

im gonna bump this until someone helps me out!

bad idea if you actually want help...good idea if you want the thread locked.

it cant be that hard dude i highly doubt you are the fist innovator here hooking up some old ass version of serato to itunes.

you realise itunes is just an interface for you music, right? you can just take the same files it is using and use them in serato. you don't have to use itunes at all to do this.

my goal is to get the files into serato..then ill hook up the box..really am thrilled about this! :D

my impression is that i just drag my files into the serato library!

of course i wont use the neil young! :P

you could always use your iTunes library...

also whenever you do get your files recognized in your scratch live library, you will have to analyze them. My recomendation is to do them in small batches...Otherwise if you have a large collection of music, it could take a few days to competly analyze (took me 4 days total to completly finish). I would analyze a couple thousand at a time and once its done you can mess around with it...

got it running with my library imported..

my friend came over...i messed around for 30 min , then the calibration went wack..frustrating..because i just set i t up ..i was ready to rock :lol:

any tips on 'calibration'..

and i heard i can record or burn songs from my vinyl into the serato library..??
