Ok let me know if I get it right. You got a sample with 88.075 bpm, sample this to your eps with a low samplerate, record it back to your daw and then it is 87,968 bpm ?
My question is. How do you measure the bpm? 0,1 bpm is near to nothing when it comes to measuring bpm by the length of the sample. Your sample could be ....lets say 78,0 bpm (measured by the length and beats in the sample) but if you cut 0,001 or 0,002 sec at the end of this sample, the calculation will give you 78,1 bpm.
So I guess your sample isn't faster but just 0,001 sec longer caused by "faulty" truncation or something like that. This can happen for example if the sample selection in your software is set to hit the next zerocrossing. Zerocrossings wont be exactly the same after external sampling.
One way to get your sample back to the 88,075 bpm would be: add 0,00? of silence to the end of the sample. You can experiment with that to get exactly 88,075 or just leave it when its close to it. I promise, you wont hear this 0,00? silence.
