Hardware is expanding for me...

just picked up a Yammy tx81z to get over losing out on the 808 .

Wicked little module with a lotta bottom end. It's for real (and a whole loada tracks just opened up for me, lately )

TX81Z is a superb module. Just finished a track using it, and it sounds great. Really easy to fit into a mix. Seems like my MPC - It just works. (the number of times I've tried to get a soft synth of any kind to sit in a mix! i- t was sending me nuts)

BTW has anyone here used/got a Yammy RY30 drum machine. I've had one for years, in fact I've had two. I bought a second one after I left/lost my first. I find it a good little machine, even thougth the standard sounds are a bit ****, it's got good midi implementation and the sounds are manipulatable (digital filters and sound shaping bits). I've never heard of anyone else using this machine though - but thought someone here might have....
