I am looking to get a nice cheap sound module. I have narrowed it down to the Roland stuff. I am really looking for good acoustic stuff. Pianos, EP, organ etc. It is down to these units: JV880, JD990, or the JV1020. I would love to spend around 250, which is a pipe dream for some of these. Any suggestions?

Thanks....

jv-1080 is my recommendation. I have a xv-2020, but to access all the features you have to plug it up to a CPU, its the same with the jv-1010. the 1080 and the 2080 or the 3080 would be the ones to get imho.

i own a jv 1080 myself and its ok, but i think it depends on what kind of music your trying to make.. I use the JV 1080 for that melodic sound..When im doing hip hop i use it, but in alliance with my planett phatt... I seen one on craigslist.com the other day for only $250 I paid $348 for mines and thats used..

I just picked up a 2080 off craig's list for 280. I was really happy with that price. So far it sounds great. I love the category button. Thanks for the input all...
