After countless hours of banging into my M-audio 88es few keys went dead, actually the keys I use the most, it's annoying and becoming less and less usable so I'm looking for new one. Maybe I should try something different, maybe something with few more knobs? What do you guys recommend?

Well it doesn't have 88 keys, but an M-Audio Venom might be up your alley. It's got 49 keys, a grimy, analog-ish, really fun-to-tweak synth engine, a USB audio interface built in that accepts audio from other sources, as well as a midi interface built in. It's a steal at $400 and you can get it for less usually.

If you want some of the best keys then you might want to find a yamaha kx88, but it's barebones(no knobs or etc). Also kind of find it odd your 88 went out on you. I've had 2 of their controllers for yrs(49 and 61 keystation) and never had an issue.
