stack the MPC500 and Sp 303 small machines ontop of the Alesis 3530 compressor? in my 3630 manual, it says it doesnt emit alot of heat, but i was wondering both for the compressor's sake and the samplers' sake, will it hurt any of it (ie overheating, melt, malfunction)

im asking this to see if its okay to lay the samplers on top for easy access and to save space. my current setup all i have is the 500 and 303, my USB TT, and the 3630 and a little selfmade table just big enough to sit the samplers on top and headphones.

Two things come to mind

1. If you are going to be pounding on the 303 or 500 whilst on top of the compressor you might want to take into consideration the casing of the compressor.....you don't want to bend it or damage it in any way.

2. Heat. If the compressor gets hot I'd say don't do it.

Overall I'd look into another option if possible....like building a little shelf built around the compressor that you can sit the 303 and 500 on. You could build a shelf like this for less than $10. :D
