LOOKING DEEPER: it's more than just a filter...
under each filter section (and there are 4 of them) are options for high, low, and band passes...6, 12, 18, and 24 db for each, optionally harmonic
instead of cutoff filters, you could choose a flanger, phaser, chorus, vibrato, downsampler, and ringmod...the downsampler in particular is SICK and sounds great when automated...
under the saturation section, for instance, there are options for limiting, distortion, remapping, compressing, "octaving," reverb distortion and pan...haven't tried a bunch of those
the envelopes are highly configurable and shapable, but kind of clicky so i don't use them often, preferring instead to draw in envelopes with control signals.
it comes with a great spatial delay and 3 lfos.
you can also reorder the stages so that different things happen first....this thing really is a multi-fx rack and it can be as simple or complex as you want it to be.
for real. everyone using VSTs should have this, because it is the ultimate swiss army knife filter. low on resources, extremely manipulatable, and it has the ultimate integrated MIDI learn (directional, upper/lower thresholds, easy to assign).
the dense GUI makes a lot of sense as soon as you play with it a little.
if you like the plugin, donate $20 to the guy. he hasn't updated it in ages and it'd be great if he revamped it.
