Hey y'all, I'm having a problem when my Korg MS2000 is connected to my MPC via MIDI. When it's all connected via "MIDI handshake" and I have the correct MIDI channel selected on both machines, there is a strange CLICK noise heard after I release each key on the MS20000.

The noise plays back with the sequence, so as you can imagine, it's very annoying and damaging to my melodies!

Has anyone had this issue or know what the cause may be? Is there something wrong with my MIDI connections/settings or the MS20000 itself? Any input appreciated! Thanks!

on the ms2000, try switching local control off.

You know what, I just demo'd some other sounds on the MS2000 and they don't have that click, so it must just be the synthesis architecture of that particular sound that is creating the click!

Now I just wish I knew which parameter to adjust to get rid of the click!

Probably either the amp envelope release or the filter envelope release
