Help transferring pro tools files

I'm looking for some help transferring files. I've got a powermac G5 that I'm looking to sell but I don't want to loose anything I've Recorded. How should I go about safely transferring files. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Get an external hard drive and back everything up there - just save all the project files and audio sensibly.

If you're buying a new mac then make sure whatever version of Pro Tools you're using will run on the OS that it ships with.
